Interesting Bits
Ned Kelly is one of our attractions at the Museum.

Come along and read about the day Ned Kelly robbed the National Bank in Euroa.
By 1876, the National Bank was housed in a new brick building with residence attached. It was built by local man, Hugh McGuinness and stood at the corner of Binney and Railway Street, it was leased to the National Bank.

The story of Mary’s Chair
Apparently the story goes that until her chair was placed into the dining room, along with her photo and other family belongings, the dining chairs were forever being needed to be pushed back under the table. You see … Mary died in the next room in 1937. Mary was Edith McCormack’s mother.
Edith bought this property in the 1920s and ran it as a boarding house for the next 50 years.

One of a kind, a mold of Ned Kelly's head; note the rope marks around his neck post his hanging death.
